  Shiva Eye actually comes from a specific type of snail found off the coast of Thailand.  It is the “trap door”  or Operculum of the shell the snail organism goes in and out of specifically. It eventually drops to the bottom of the sea bed and is washed ashore as a pretty white round bead with a coffee swirl found on each one.
